Award winning road transport firm Backhouse Jones are delighted to have won another award, this time the Red Rose Professional Services Award 2023. The Red Rose Awards provide the best possible platform to promote success with the aim of encouraging trade within Lancashire.
Over 1,000 attended the Red Rose Awards at Winter Gardens Blackpool to celebrate and honour the achievements of Lancashire’s business community.
There were 22 categories with some dedicated to sectors, others based on the size of the business and the remainder for special achievements such as customer service, transformation or commitment to skills.
Shortlisted companies were from all sectors, from a local independent beauty products manufacturer launched during lockdown to multinational firms achieving sales growth across several continents.
The selection was rigorous. There were three stages of judging by a panel of expert local business leaders starting with a written submission and culminating in an in-person judging event at Burnley Football Club. They will now join an exclusive club of winners and benefit from a special package including tailored mentoring and exclusive networking.
In respect of Backhouse Jones, it was reported that the judges commented that “the firm’s enthusiasm, culture and innovation underpins their business successes and shone through..”
Although Backhouse Jones is a practice which acts for clients based all over the UK, the firm’s head office is based in Lancashire and one of its core values is to support and champion local people and businesses where possible.
