We’re proudly supporting our charity partner Transaid this May by celebrating Transaid Month 2025.
Transaid is an international development organisation which transforms lives through safe, available, and sustainable transport. The charity works with communities, partners, and governments to address transport challenges across sub-Saharan Africa, working to improve road safety and access to healthcare.
Did you know…?
- There were an estimated 1.19 million road traffic deaths in 2021.
- 92% of deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries, despite having less than 1% of the world’s motor vehicles.
- Nearly every minute, a child under five dies of malaria.
- A maternal death occurred almost every two minutes in 2020.
We’re working to change these statistics by helping to transform lives through transport.
Everyone has the right to travel safely without the fear that they may not come home because of a lack of training, or dangerous vehicles and roads. Everyone has the right to access healthcare. Every person should have the opportunity to build the skills they need to transform their future.
