Laila graduated from Lancaster University in 2022 with a first-class degree in Law and then went on to complete an LPC LLM at BPP University Manchester. She started Backhouse Jones in 2023 as a paralegal for both Insurance Litigation and Commercial Litigation where she has worked on several high-profile cases.

Laila started her training contract in September 2024 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2026.

Outside of work Laila enjoys retail therapy and travelling.
