New edition of the Official DVSA Guide to Driving Buses and Coaches now available

DVSA has launched a new edition of The Official DVSA Guide to Driving Buses and Coaches. The updated guide is designed to support learner drivers, experienced bus and coach drivers, and instructors in developing safe, professional driving skills.
The latest edition includes up-to-date guidance on practical driving skills, current regulations, and the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), with practice case studies and the national standard for driving buses and coaches.
Key updates include:
- responding effectively in emergency situations, including first aid and defibrillator awareness
- clearer guidance on the Driver CPC qualification, including the difference between National and International Driver CPC training courses
