HGV & PSV inspection manual updates

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency has announced updates to the Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) and Public Service Vehicle (PSV) inspection manuals, effective from 19 February 2026.

The revised manuals are now published on GOV.UK and can be accessed here.

To make amendments easier to identify, the updated manuals include a page of revisions at the start of each manual and a black line in the left-hand margin of any page where a revision has been made.
