Heavy Vehicle Test Certificates Have Changed

From Saturday 14 July 2018, heavy vehicle test certificates for HGVs, PSVs and trailers have changed. They will now look like the new certificates for car MOTs in an attempt to make them clearer and easier to understand.
In addition, a new ‘Refusal to Issue an MOT’ form has been introduced, which will provide clearer details on failure items.
The DVSA has also, from 14 July 2018, stopped issuing trailer expiry discs, as this information is contained in the MOT history service, which is available online at https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history.
