Researchers at the University of Surrey are conducting a study to better understand the challenges faced by coach drivers working on rail replacement services. This work is part of a Department for Transport-funded project focused on supporting coach operators with AIR (Accessible and Inclusive Rail) compliance.
They are looking to speak with coach drivers in a 45–60 minute interview (via Microsoft Teams) about their experiences. To thank participants for their time, a £20 Amazon voucher will be provided.
Interviews can be scheduled flexibly to suit availability.
If you are a coach driver involved in rail replacement work—or know someone who is—please consider taking part. For more information or to get involved, contact Laura Mackenzie at lm02189@surrey.ac.uk.
