Last chance to respond: DfT survey on 18–19 year old PSV driver restrictions

The Department for Transport has extended the deadline for its survey on restrictions affecting 18–19 year old PSV drivers to 9 March.

This questionnaire is for bus and coach operators only and includes 22 questions focused on driver shortages and safety, particularly in relation to new and young drivers. Responses will directly inform whether current restrictions on 18 and 19-year-olds are removed or amended.

DfT has made clear that without strong, evidence-based feedback from operators, it will not be able to properly assess the case for change.
