Amy joined Backhouse Jones in 2016 and qualified as a Solicitor in the Regulatory Team in March 2023.

During her time at Backhouse Jones, Amy has developed a wealth of experience advising operators across the haulage, coach and bus sectors in connection with Operator’s Licence applications and variations, DVSA investigations (whether TEVR’s, MIVR’s or desk-based assessments) and Traffic Commissioner Public Inquiries, Preliminary Hearings and Driver Conduct Hearings.

Amy works closely with James Backhouse (Director) assisting with cases involving some of the more complex regulatory road transport issues.

In her spare time, she enjoys family days and socialising with friends.
