The Operator Report Service – Did you do what you needed to?

As we reported in March 2023 here, the Transport Office Portal closed on 31 March 2023, and was be replaced by a new service.

If you’re an operator with an existing VOL account then you didn’t need to do anything – the new operator reports service should have automatically become available. There should be a new link to the service on the right-hand side of the home page on VOL. If you don’t currently have an account on the VOL self-service portal, you can register in here.

Operators can access information about their vehicle operation through the Vehicle Operator Licence (VOL) portal. The new service is called the ‘Operator Report Service’ and will allow operators to request the following reports:

· Operator Compliance Risk Score (OCRS) and report
· Vehicle Maintenance Test History
· Encounter reports

This is intended to be a ‘one-stop shop’ to keep operators fleet details accurate and up to date, and to help manage vehicle maintenance and compliance.
