Get your contact details right! – DVLA may be in touch

Have you applied for a new driver’s licence? Then if so, make sure you have included up to date contact details in order to get notification when a licence application is received.

It has been confirmed that the DVLA have brought back their notification service, letting drivers’ know when their driver licence has been received.  This may be by email, text or post.

It is hoped that this will help regarding the delays in processing vocational driving licence applications and renewals, and that it might let you make an informed decision about your eligibility under Section 88, while your application is being processed.
