Applications open for a new £100 million fund for businesses in Scotland

£100 million has been made available to provide support for small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) and newly self-employed people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The £100 million comprises of three separate funds:
- £34 million Newly Self-Employed Hardship Fund – £2,000 grants will be available for the newly self-employed who are ineligible for UK support.
- £20 million Creative, Tourism & Hospitality Enterprises Hardship Fund – grants of up to £25,000 will be available for small and micro enterprises in the creative, tourism and hospitality sectors that are not in receipt of business rates relief.
- £45 million Pivotal Enterprise Resilience Fund – bespoke grants and business support will be available to viable SMEs who are vital to the Scottish economy.
