The DVSA have just issued information stating that the Transport Office Portal – through which operators can access and monitor their Operator Compliance Risk Score (“OCRS”) data is closing on 31 March 2023. Instead, reports will be available through the Vehicle Operator Licence (“VOL”) portal and will be called Operator Report Service. Both the DVSA and the Traffic Commissioners expect Transport Managers and Operators to be monitoring this data regularly.
The new service will allow Operators to request the following reports:
This gives commercial vehicle Operators a single operator service to keep their fleet details accurate and up to date to help manage vehicle maintenance and compliance.
If Operators already have a self-service account on VOL, they don’t need to do anything as the new Operator Report Service will automatically become available. A new link to the service will appear on the right-hand side of the VOL home page and the DVSA will let Operators know when it’s ready.
If Operators don’t currently have an account on the VOL self-service portal, they can register in advance of the service going live.
If you need assistance with accessing these reports or would like to speak to a specialist member or our Road Transport Law team contact us on 01254 828300.
