Mediation Services

Independent mediation for constructive dispute resolution

We provide independent mediation services to help individuals, businesses and organisations resolve disputes in a constructive and proportionate way.

Mediation offers a confidential alternative to formal procedures and litigation. It allows parties to address issues directly, with the support of an experienced and impartial mediator, and to work towards outcomes they can agree and move forward with.

Our mediators are accredited (CEDR or equivalent) and experienced in dealing with workplace, commercial and public sector disputes. Mediation can be delivered face-to-face or online, depending on what is most appropriate.

How we can help

Workplace Mediation

Workplace conflict can have a significant impact on working relationships, productivity and morale, and is often a trigger for formal grievance or disciplinary processes.

Our workplace mediation service supports colleagues, teams and managers in addressing issues such as communication breakdowns, interpersonal conflict and ongoing tension. The process is confidential and structured, helping parties reach practical agreements and reduce the risk of escalation.

Commercial Mediation

We support organisations in resolving contractual disputes, partnership disagreements and conflicts with clients or suppliers through mediation. This allows parties to address issues efficiently and privately, while retaining control over the outcome and protecting commercial relationships and reputations.

Public Sector and Organisational Mediation

Disputes within public bodies and organisations are often complex and sensitive, involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

We facilitate constructive dialogue within and between public sector organisations, local authorities and community stakeholders. Our mediators help parties address issues fairly and practically, supporting workable outcomes that take account of wider organisational responsibilities.

How mediation works

Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process conducted by an independent mediator. The mediator does not make decisions or impose outcomes.

Each mediation is tailored to the circumstances of the dispute, but typically involves:

  • Preparation with the parties
  • A structured mediation meeting
  • Facilitated discussion and option exploration
  • Support in recording agreed outcomes, where reached

Mediation can take place in person or online, depending on what is most appropriate.

Why consider mediation

  • Confidential and without prejudice
  • Independent and impartial facilitation
  • Cost-effective and time-efficient
  • Flexible and proportionate to the dispute
  • Accredited mediators (CEDR or equivalent)
