Important CPT announcement for Scottish bus operators

The CPT has recently released the following information which we thought operators may find useful:

Claire Gilmore, Traffic Commissioner for Scotland, confirms that no action will be taken against Scottish bus operators who have to vary services
Claire said “I can confirm there will be no action taken against Scottish bus operators who have to vary services at short notice on account of their involvement in the arrangements for Her late Majesty’s funeral etc. What would be helpful is if notification of any services which might be impacted are given to my office and the local authority in question. That way we may be able to arrange formal short notice variations to cover the situation.”
