On 18 January, the DfT launched a consultation to seek views on changes to MOTs in Great Britain. Amogst other things, the consultation will be looking at changing the date of the first MOT for new vehicles. This will include the frequency of tests after the first MOT and whether hybrid vehicles should be brought in to the emission testing arena.
