ESG is increasingly being seen as important for businesses. Not dealing with ESG issues relevant to a business can sometimes open the business up to avoidable risks such as: regulatory enforcement; litigation; and reputational risks. There is also a growing trend for ESG requirements and compliance as a pre-requisite for some businesses to contract with other parties.
It is becoming increasingly necessary for businesses to have ESG related documentation in place. Each business is different and the documents each will differ.
