Actually, there is another vital step that many operators miss which can seriously delay your application and put you behind with ensuring all your new or altered routes are fully up to date.
The Office of the Traffic Commissioner has recently reminded operators of registered local services (in England) that they are required to provide a copy of the draft application to the appropriate local authority for any proposed new service, variation or cancellation. The application cannot be submitted to the traffic commissioner unless either (i) the local authority provides agreement, or; (ii) 28 days have passed. The draft must include:
