Branding, visuals, styling and fonts. These are the day-to-day concerns that are always at the forefront of Julia’s mind when considering the next marketing concept by Backhouse Jones and have been ever since she joined the firm in 2011. An inaugural member of the business development team, Julia has embarked on a number of creative campaigns by the firm which range from eye catching stands at national trade shows, BHJ seminars in both the north and south not to mention the firm’s participation in the Banger Rally when Jonathon Backhouse and Ian Jones drove across Europe in a branded BHJ vehicle to Barcelona (bought for only £300 – entry rules) in a bid to raise money for a foundation in Africa.
Graduating from Lancaster University with a First Class Honours Degree, Julia brings a commercial approach to the business development team. Alongside her love of colour and all things branding, she is heavily involved in drafting business development proposals for both SME’s and blue chip companies, managing client relationships and developing training and product offerings.

Julia is mum to identical twin daughters and her life is currently operating at full tilt. In the odd quiet moment you will probably find her reviewing the latest fashion brochures, analysing the current trends and, undoubtedly, critiquing their fonts and branding techniques!
