Last month, DVSA announced that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, heavy vehicle testing (MOTs) of all PSVs, HGVs and trailers had been suspended for up to 3 months.
However, it has now been announced that testing will be available for some vehicles which are being used to support the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This includes:
- out of service MOT vehicles and trailers being returned to service; and
- approval of specialist vehicles, such as ambulances.
