Joanna qualified as a Solicitor in March 2025 and is a member of the Commercial Litigation team at Backhouse Jones. She joined the firm in May 2019 as a Regulatory Secretary and progressed to a Paralegal role in September 2020 before completing her training contract.
Joanna advises on a broad range of commercial disputes, including matters on the small claims, fast track and intermediate track, and assists on complex multi-track litigation. She has developed particular knowledge of, and a keen interest in, handling Clandestine Entrant appeals and Notices of Objection.
Joanna is known for her practical, client-focused approach and works closely with clients to guide them through the litigation process clearly and efficiently.
Outside of work, Joanna enjoys travelling, reading and spending time with friends and family.
